Replaced battery which is fine. All good. However, apparently had to take my screen protector off (just your classic one). Never told me beforehand and wanted to charge me an extra $20 at pick up for a new screen protector and it’s a pretty common job so I’d assume they knew they’d do this beforehand. I have had my battery replaced by apple before and they never needed to. Check for sneaky little costs :)After their response. I think the best response is the “ We have reminded all team members to advise customers they will lose their screen protectors on all out of warranty battery and screen repairs.” which is all this needed. I never asked for a speedy replacement. The screen protector had the smallest crack ever, but I do think you should consider professionalism before replying to these reviews, regardless of small or large business I would have felt the same. I think this close to Christmas $20 is a lot of money not to advise your customers about.

It was such a relief to find Ubertec after being quoted astronomical amounts to have my iPhone screen replaced nearby. They were kind, professional, and thorough. It was all taken care of within several hours. Highly recommend them over many others in the area that charge HUNDREDS more. I will definitely be coming back here for any other Apple issues I encounter. They had a great selection of Apple accessories as well!

I wasn’t expecting the MacBook to be covered under warranty but they did, and even refunded me the diagnostic fee without me asking. Excellent service and quick turnaround

Have been in there 2 days in a row for questions about my laptop issues. They have been nothing but amazing there especially the woman at the front desk is super amazing and helpful. Recommended going here with any Mac or Apple needs they are fantastic

Incredible service and communication. I had some problems with my MacBook Air and they were so helpful and gave me heaps of advice, allowing me to fix it for the cheapest price possible.Every single staff member were knowledgeable and kind. They don’t try to scam you, they genuinely want to help you fix your problem.Special shout-out to T who provided me with amazing service (and humour!) and even fought an Apple representative for me to help me get my problem fixed under warranty! He was very pleasant to deal with and left a great impression on me :)Don’t listen to the 1-star reviews- they clearly blame Ubertec for their own problems e.g products being out of warranty etc. I would recommend this place to anyone and this is the only place I would go back to to have anything fixed.Thank you Ubertec!

Laptop crashed on a recent trip to Australia. Cue the five stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance. Took it in to Ubertec the day after I got back who diagnosed the problem that afternoon, championed my case for a free part with Apple (who agreed, so kudos Apple), and had it installed, running, and ready for collection the very next day. All for $90! As a freelancer with impending deadlines, a functioning laptop is a fully existential matter, so this result filled my day with joy. Just fantastic service from people who actually seem to care - if you don't care, Ubertec, then you're very fine actors and you should probably try out for Shortland Street as your next career move. Five stars and some genuine gratitude from me :-)
