Folkestone St Infant & Child Care, Mairangi Bay

I can't say enough good things about Folkestone and the team there. Our little one started in February at 6 months and I was pretty nervous leaving her. I was able to spend as much time as we both needed settling her which made such a big difference as she has been happy there from day one, and most of the time is an easier baby at daycare than she is at home! It's obvious that they really love what they do and I know she is so well looked after and loved. Huge thanks to the whole team for taking such good care of Allison, and for making everything so easy and stress free :)

Our 'Covid baby' has settled into the loving atmosphere at Folkestone St better than we ever would have imagined. The home-like atmosphere and caring nature of the experienced team members really make it a home away from home for our little one. Given she had limited opportunities to socialise due to lockdowns etc we were concerned about how she would settle but she gives a big smile to the teachers when she sees them each morning which speaks for itself.

We feel so lucky to have found Folkestone. Our one year old has recently started and we have been blown away by the time and care that Miranda, Vicky and the team offered to integrate us into daycare life. It's a big step handing over your little one, but after spending time at the centre and getting to know the wonderful Kaiako, we know our little girl is in the best hands. The food is nutritious, individual sleep schedules are followed and family are always welcome - Just what our family needed. THANK YOU!!

Folkestone has been such a positive experience for our family and young daughter . The teachers are amazing and take such great care of the children. They provide proper healthy meals which get rave reviews from our little one and the outdoor area is so nice all year round. The biggest advantage is the staff and their knowledge, care and support. Folkestone have always been flexible and accomodating to our changing requirements and commitments. Would thoroughly recommend to all families.

Folkestone Street Infant and Childcare is an amazing setting, Im so glad I was able to get my son a place there. The staff are all lovely and genuinely care about your child. I love how they do lots of outdoor activities but it still has a real homely feel. The enrolment and transition was very easy, the staff really invested time to build a relationship making sure my son felt safe and happy being there and I felt confident leaving him. They really understand the importance attachment and children’s emotional well-being.The staff are always really supportive and understanding of any requests or questions I may have. I can’t fault the place and feel lucky to be able to send my son there, it really is his second home!Thank you for everything.

My daughter attended Folkestone Street for just under 2 years. From the day she started she was welcomed with open arms, the teachers made sure I felt secure and happy leaving her.The teachers genuinely love and care for all the children. My daughter would run to her favourite teacher every morning and talk about them when we had left for the day.The skills, lessons and values she learned from her teachers will stay with her for many years.The children become friends and its lovely to see little friendships blossom.The facilities are the best there is, we have recently moved cities and are in the process of finding a day care that matches Folkestone Street's 5 star facilities, not so easy!The children are encouraged to be themselves and develop their own set of unique skills with a gentle hand from the teachers.I would happily recommend Folkestone Street Infant & Childcare to any parent, it was certainly the very best start to my daughter's education.Thanks Miranda and all the wonderful teachers.

Best daycare ever!Places in Folkestone Street Childcare Center are in high demand, so I am fortunate to have secured a spot for my little one.The love, care & attention is second to no childcare facility I have come across and the staff is extremely friendly, helpful, approachable & welcoming.We are also constantly updated on our daughter's progress & development which is amazing.I would 100% recommend Folkestone Street Childcare Center to anyone looking for a loving/home like environment.

Being a first time mum, sending my son to daycare was pretty daunting but Vicki and the team at Folkestone have been amazing. They’ve reassured me every step of the way and I know that my little boy gets all the love and care he needs while they go at his pace.I particularly love they way they try and emulate our home rhythm and haven’t tried to enforce any strict schedule. He loves it - I can see his face light up when we arrive.I would and I do recommend Folkestone Street to anyone who asks.

Our son has been at Folkestone now for 7 months and loves it. The team are a welcoming, caring, kind, friendly bunch. We really enjoy the homely style atmosphere.So happy with the types of meals they provide too, no unnecessary sugar which ticks the boxes for us.We can see that our son enjoys spending his day at Folkestone which is always great to see.

We started at Folkestone Street in February this year and the staff have been so welcoming, going above and beyond to settle our little one in and make her feel like she is part of the family.
