Pacific Horizon Campervans & Motorhomes

My wife and I rented the motorhome for 8 days to travel in the South Island and we had a great trip! The motorhome worked well throughout our trip. The interior design was really nice (i.e. furniture, lighting etc.), even better than that of other popular brands on the market. The staff service was excellent and very helpful. This was our first experience ever with motorhome/campervan and we're glad that we chose Pacific Horizon instead of other brands. If we come back to New Zealand, Pacific Horizon would definitely be our option

We hired a 2+1 van for two weeks. We picked it up in Auckland and traveled Northland and the Far North and then dropped it off in Wellington (depot in Plimmerton actually). It was the BEST! Very modern and easy to drive vans. Very clean and tidy and well thought out. The satellite tv was a huge bonus as we were able to watch the America's Cup. Service from Maryann was professional, fast, accommodating & friendly. We loved it so much, we already want to hire another bigger camper van from them again. This is a family owned local business. Highly recommend to anyone considering a road trip!!

Where do I start……?My first camper experience and boy am I glad I chose these guys.I dealt with Maryann, Debs, & John and right from the start these guys have been welcoming, informative and fun.I got the 2 + 1 Mercedes camper & I was given a full run down of its workings and where I could find any information on the van or it’s technical contents when I was on the road.I thought the hire was long enough until it came to an end and just wished for it to continue.The camper was awesome and I would say I didn’t even utilize it to its full potential.Any single or couple would be more than content in this little palace on wheels!I would not HESITATE in recommending the team at Pacific Horizon, they are truly awesome to deal with and you will get a quality product backed with good professional support.Happy Travels

Everyone at Pacific Horizon is friendly, accommodating, and absolutely top-notch. Even before leaving the U.S. they've answered our emails and phone calls with patience and care, and taught us how to use the campervan once we were in Auckland. The campervan was clean and beautiful, and we knew we were in good hands with Pacific Horizon because Maryanne and her crew have THE BEST customer service! We highly recommend Pacific Horizon to anyone traveling in New Zealand!!

As a family of 3 it was our first time using a motorhome/campervan... We absolutely loved it! Needless to say we are hooked! The van was spotless and in full working order. We had a 6 berth option for the 3 of us which gave us extra seating/ eating options. The two front seats are especially comfortable and spacious which made the driving enjoyable. Staff were awesome! An amazing experience overall, thank you Pacific Horizons we will be back!

We rented a Mercedes Berth 4 from Pacific Horizon in March 2023 for 3 weeks. We found the staff to be responsive and helpful. The RV was exactly as described and it was a great vehicle for our vacation. We didn't have any issues at all travelling. I highly recommend PH for your RV rental!

We were on holiday from the United States in April 2023 and traveled around the entire South Island over 2.5 weeks. It was quite intimidating because we had no idea who in the area was reputable in terms of motor homes. Plus were a big family (2 adults, 4 kids) so we needed a camper van large enough for our family, car seats, pick up from our hotel etc. Pacific Horizons from the very start was amazing. Their customer service was the best I've ever experienced; literally one phone call away to answer any questions you had, no matter how silly you thought they were. Booking the camper itself was easy, and picking it up and dropping it off was so efficient. They were so professional, they understood every concern we had and offered great advice on places, routes and things to do. Our family had an amazing New Zealand experience, and Pacific Horizon's made it happen! Thanks everyone!

Before our trip to New Zealand, we faced the challenge of finding a camper that allowed us to install three child seats in the direction of travel.After a few days of research and rejections from various rental companies (because of the internal guidelines for transporting small children), we then came across Pacific Horizon.Already the first contact via Facebook brought us the feeling that Maryann and Jendy could solve our problem.After a few emails, we then quickly received a suitable offer.The pickup of our camper in Auckland went smoothly, Eddie picked us up from the airport and explained us in detail the operation of the camper and the entire equipment.The camper was clean and technically in perfect condition and has at no time caused problems during our entire trip from north to south.
