Came here for lunch and was disappointed at all. Ordered the sliders and they were great. Very tasty and the chips were great to.

This is somewhere you have to visit. Lovely, dog friendly beer garden area (not covered, so only useful on sunny days). It was a shame that only bar snacks were available, But the sliders we ordered were yummy!

Room 1 was as advertised, Rosie was present and made her feelings clear. The website prices were not up to date so check costs before booking. The bedroom was a bit small and the bed mattress too soft, but I wasn't getting any sleep anyway. The food was scrumptious, good portion sizes, and just delicious. The beef and lamb was fallem apart, the seasonal veges were al dented, spuds and gravy. Need I say more. If you have room for dessert the brownie is worth the calories, don't think about it, just do it. The service was great and the community welcoming. A great stop for the paranormal junkies.

Nice spot to stop for lunch in St Bathans. Food was really good, and the Blue Lake is right across the road with swimming and walking tracks available. Nice outdoor picnic table seating on a sunny day and dogs were welcome to sit with us

I stayed a night at the Vulcan Hotel with a friend visiting from United States a few weeks ago. The Manager Sue and the excellent staff made us feel very welcome and they served an excellent beef brisket meal for us. St Bathans is a really nice place to visit off the beaten path with a rich history. I highly recommend visiting. Room 1 was a very interesting experience as well. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

Visited the Vulcan today and the turn around from the new owners is outstanding. All of the staff were friendly, decent beers on tap and the food was much better than expected!Previously I thought if only this place had someone who knew what they’re doing, it seems it finally has.Thank you.

Bar and dining room were warm, cosy, and comfortable. Staff were friendly and the service was very good. The food was very good and tasty. Different beers on tap. Coffee bar in dining room. Location is off the beaten track but definitely worth the drive in. Beautiful area. Go here, you will love it too.

Great place to wander around. Would love to do the walk around the lake one day. Had lunch at the Vulcan and the food was delicious; well worth a stop!!
