The best cakes I have ever had in New Zealand. Plus Janine is a great person, funny and charismatic.

I have had Janine make 2 cakes for me and both were completely amazing. For my 40th she made an incredible chocolate mud cake with fondant icing. We worked together on the design and I was so happy when I saw it. It was delicious! For my wedding Janine made a lemon cake with buttercream icing - loved it! So moist and lemony! Could not have been happier. Janine was such a pleasure to work with, fun and professional and most importantly completely reliable. I knew I didn’t have to worry about a thing, she even delivered it. People are still talking about how good those cakes were! I would absolutely recommend Janine to other people and look forward to tasting her cakes again in the future.

We got married on Sunday 28th January 2018 and Janine made our wedding cake and it was amazing! So delicious and so gorgeous looking too! The icing was so creamy and the cake so moist and flavoursome! Both the caramel and the coffee flavours were great! The guests were all so impressed, and could not believe that it was vegan! Janine has been so lovely to deal with too - so responsive to messages, very clear communication and so helpful. I am so over the moon with our cake and so glad that we chose Temptation Cakes. Janine/Temptation Cakes was a blessing to our day. Facebook pointed me in her direction based on first impressions and Ive not regretted that decision. We went for a simple yet elegant cake to bring together the vibe of a lively winery (Batch Winery - Waiheke) and it surely made for an amazing complement to the dessert we served at our wedding reception. It is to the point that the CHEF, STAFF and our GUEST along with the Batch winery DINERS wanted to know where we got our cake from... Janine’s cakes are outstanding, her imagination knows no bounds. I used her for our wedding four years ago for the first time and have ordered from her ever since. I now have her making my daughters 21st cake. Temptation cakes are the best. Janine is delightful, yet manages to remain completely professional as well. I will continue to order her cakes for years I have never been disappointed, I have referred friends and know they are delighted with outcomes also. There is no one that tops her in my opinion. I would give her a try enjoy!!

I ordered a vegan cake for my son's 21st birthday and could not of been more pleased, looked and tasted fantastic. Janine provides such a great service, so friendly and even delivered the cake to the venue for me. I will definitely order again and highly recommend.
