Brett is a great language tutor and I would recommend him to not only students who are taking language in school but also for people like me who are learning language on their own. Brett is a very attentive and passionate English teacher/tutor. He continuously develops his teaching styles and lesson materials to increase students' engagement, which I believe is the most important quality for an English teacher. When I was having hard time with job hunting last year, he revised my CV and Cover letter, and helped me prepare for the interviews. He read the job description thoroughly and gave some greats ideas for possible answers. Thanks to his help, I was able to do well at the interviews and finally got offers! Thank you Brett!

Brett is this kind of teachers who can personalize the learning approach to student’s specific needs, by 1) choosing lesson topics of their interest 2) greatly analyzing what student should work on to improve rapidly. He gives student, precise advice and confidence to become a better English speaker at the end of the day. Super happy and grateful to have had the chance to be one of his students. Preparing myself the IELTS exams few years ago, I could only get 6 points overall. This time, I have chosen Language Elevator to help in the preparation of this very particular exam. I spent amazing 12 hours lessons with Brett, preparing the test, and I reached really higher scores with a 7.5 overall. I had English lessons with Brett for months. As an immigrant worker in New Zealand, I found it was the time to improve my English speaking skills. Due to Covid1-9, we had online private sessions and I was quite satisfied with his flexible hours. Over the months, Bretts led me to speak as much as I could regarding a variety of topics. I appreciate that my English skills such as grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary have been improved and I'm more confident about meeting native speakers by understanding NZ culture.
