Very negative experience using Auto Trader. Site seems to only attract scammers- when I contacted customer service they didn't even bother to reply. The platform is clunky and unresponsive. Far better in all aspects on Trade Me and actually sold my car there. Get what you pay for.

Great idea - something to rival trademe - but unfortunately auto trader just didn't seem to yield anywhere near as many enquiries in my car ad as trademe did. Shame, because the trademe fees are extortionate. I hope that autotrader find a way to better rival the market in future.

Autotrader was super easy to use and made the process of buying a second-hand car super stress-free. There was a massive range of cars and the website was really easy to navigate. Much better than other websites I tried beforehand. I’d definitely use Autotrader again.
