Just superb! Friendly, warm, attentive but not overbearing service coupled with mouthwatering meals that deserve to be savoured mouthful by mouthful. Get there, you are missing a gem if you pass it by.

The Stoaker Room Cromwell
One of the best experiences in otago region, the whole cooking is done inside barrel with full of taste and quality. Was impressed with the way of presentation and the style of food. This place is quite busy so better to pre book before visiting. We were lucky to get the seat though. Ideal place for friends get together and party.

After reading some very poor reviews we were doubtful about coming but after it being recommended while we were out and about we came. And glad we did, the staff were helpful, knowledgeable, patient and cheerful. The food was amazing, plentiful and everything was cooked to perfection. I would definitely recommend.

Food was amazing! So tender and tasty. Decent drink selection. Everyone was welcoming and service was fine. Love sitting with wine barrels and in amongst orchards

Great service and even better food!The staff were super lovely and more than happy to show us the smokers and set ups.The food is to die for! The Stoaker dog was ok but the ribs and the pork belly sandwich were melt in your mouth delicious well worth a visit!The desserts were also delicious if you can find the room for them
