About a year ago I was recommended WBKAC from people within the animal welfare industry. I don't trust many people to look after and care for my dogs. So am very grateful I found the team here. It means I can enjoy time away knowing my dogs are in safe hands.Faye the owner has a sound understanding of dog welfare and training, both from a physical and mental standpoint.I see Faye mentor her staff and now Jazmyn is an accomplished trainer in her own right.I trust this team whole heartedly with my dogs. I use their boarding facilities as well as K9 school.K9 School gives dogs an important foundation. One day a week has made a massive difference to my dogs.My dogs have learnt• To be relaxed with other dogs around.• Controlled play - learning social queues• Routine• Mental stimulationI get to see photos of my dogs enjoying their time here.I would recommend anyone using these services to really make the most of the recommendations, advice and knowledge from the team

These guys go above and beyond! Faye is a professional dog trainer so not only does out pup get amazing attention and care, but we (and pup) have learnt so much from her. Great socialization for our rural dog. Could not recommend more highly! As a bonus, also very affordable.

As per their website I tried to book in to checkout the kennels prior to booking in my dogs to stay . They did not return my phone call on Wednesday the 23rd . I phoned again on Thursday the 24th and did talk to someone and was told they were to busy to answer my questions because of their children being ill and staff away because of Covid , I was told to email them . I emailed them Thursday the 24th at 5:10 pm and no response . I phoned them on Friday the 24th at 4:55pm to ask about seeing the kennels as per my email to visit Saturday the 26th .I was told they had not looked at my email and would be going over emails on the weekend I was told that because of lack staff that they were to busy on Saturday, for us to inspect the kennels . When I asked about another Saturday I was told they only let people look at the kennels Monday to Friday in the afternoon . Their web site says they are open seven days a week and holidays . I have no idea how well they treat peoples pets but I have related how I was treated . I did not like , the impatience of the person I spoke to , the lack of communication and the lack of flexibility in helping people that work long set hours in a essential services job .

I have used Waikato kennel for more than a year and I am very happy with their service, the owner Faye is amazing and easy to approach, but one of their staff(I didn’t catch her name), she has no manners at all when she talks to the customer. It totally puts me off and I have decided to find another daycare for my pup.

I have boarded both my dogs at Waikato Boarding Kennels and Cattery and have found Faye and her staff to be nothing but accomodating, friendly and above all attentive to both me and my dogs needs. In fact, I have been so impressed I also enrolled my younger dog into the k9 school and have been so impressed with the training they have done with her. I have and will continue to recommend Faye and her staff to friends and families as I trust them whole heartedly with my dogs!

I have used Waikato Boarding Kennels a few times for my dog now on the recommendation of my workmate. We have been really pleased with the experience and appreciate the care and communication from Faye and her team. Would highly recommend to any dog owner.
