Do not attend if you have any mental health issues and or looking for friends.Auckland university is a more theory focused university and inherently harder than AUT which gives the exact same degree. The university of auckland cares not for the mental wellbeing of its students. Coming from a mental health crisis causing me to be held back a year as i failed 7/8 classes i had taken, it took 9 weeks and 7 emails begging one of my lecturers to please give me some help and send me to a university mental health specialist. By the time they finally got round to acknowledging my existence i had already failed all my classes and it was the final week before exams.making friends here is also nigh impossible. In high school i was confident and had no issues talking to anyone i wished to talk to. but at university the atmosphere is much different. unless you're in a environment where you're forced to talk to another person, good luck trying to make friends. In the study areas no one talks to strangers, Granted if you're trying to study this cannot be faulted. But in lectures where you're asked to talk to others sitting with or near you people will still refuse to talk. If you don't join a discord server, unless you get lucky and don't mind inconveniencing a few people a couple of times you wont make friends.i now have to choice but to repeat all my classes from last year but one i physically didnt do but still somehow managed to pass. Upon request to take it again so i have the foundation i need i had been refused. if you're having any mental health trouble please contact your GP for recommendations or some therapy institute. i am not forced to pay tuition and fees for all of theses classes again and to face the embarrassment that comes with repeating.

Nice facility - control room for satellite missions. The little coffee stand by the engineering building 's entrance has the best coffee and muffins. (If you have classes here, you'll need it.)

DO NOT come here if you value your life, I know two students who committed suicide in the university. The receptionist refuse to help students when asked. Half of the technician is taking leaves at any given time. The bureaucracy is amazing.

Top university in Auckland. Has 95% of its subjects has top ranking in New Zealand. The fees is high but the facilities and staff is amazing. Great environment for studies and they do ensure that students get best education and they are safe from bullies or racism. Fantastic place to study in Auckland.

One of the biggest and most reputed universities around the world. Best place for studies for people who wants to have an international university with plenty of studies options.The variety of courses is huge and number of courses are available for students.The building and infrastructure of university is eye catching with number of different departments and different building for almost each department.

Learning and academically have had the best experience at this university as an urban planning student. But the administration here is horrible, get sent around in circles and never get issues sorted. Really need to reevaluate their administration services before they cause serious detriment to somebody. They have let me down so many times and it’s a disaster just waiting to happen… multiple already have. Please do better.

Studied Engineering here between 2001 to 2004. Great value for money.

No 1 rank university, this is what posters they have there, and these are the people that are grading u. Top 100 nah nah nah more like top 150. This is basic English. This is just so sad that they are so highly ranked.

Would rate 0 stars if I could. God forbid you ever end up in a bad mental state while studying at this university, because I guarantee you that you will not get the help you need asking the first time round. A good portion of the student support staff don’t know what they’re doing, and very few are actually compassionate and get you the help that you need. Don’t study here if you value your mental health and well-being.

One of the worst Universities in New Zealand when it comes to student support for any enrolment enquiry’s.A lot of money and nothing to show for it, especially since now they just reuse lecture material online!
