No good experience and first time ,the car has low mileage but developed mechanical issues.The mechanical service charges 2500 dollars to fix the most problems,But I must pay 2100 dollars. It was better and cheaper to do it myself and not use Provident.

I have dealt with provident insurance a couple of times via phone and i have been extremely happy with their customer service over the phone. The staff are very friendly and polite. They are very easy to deal with and they also explain everything to you in detail if you do not understand anything. So over all very satisfied with them.

Absolutely terrible service. trying to call to talk to someone and it has now gone 1 hour on hold! Still, no one has picked up the phone! Service is terrible. Do not recommend

I’ve needed to contact Provident customer services twice in recent months; first to claim for a cracked windscreen, we have car insurance with them, and second re closing one of the polices we held with them as we’d changed vehicles. Both times the customer service team were just excellent, really fast response, polite, friendly and most important of all jargon free. They explained everything so clearly and simply and the process was fast and efficient. We remain customers of Provident and recommend them highly. A good Kiwi company.

Honestly, when I purchased mbi (Pinnacle Cover) from Provident Insurance, I was a bit worried after reading their reviews online. However, they have been very fair and rather quick to respond to any claims that I have needed to make.I recently had to make 3 seperate claims in one week. Provident responded very fast and accepted each one of them, saving me a hefty amount.I would highly recommend anyone purchasing mbi from Provident.So long as you follow their guidelines and keep on top of your servicing you have nothing to worry about. They are reasonably priced, fair, and quick to assess claims.Thank you

Provident Insurance has no empathy there act like robots. Email stating unable to accept your claim refer to policy booklet exclusions, we never received a booklet when taking out this Insurance but they do go the extra mile to find out how not to pay you out.

My objective is to reduce my foot print on the planet.In 2018 the new car warranty on my SUV was about to expire and I had started working from home. I had averaged 16,500 KM per annum during the warranty.i asked the dealer service manager for advice and she advised me to take an extened warranty and keep the car. I took her advice and she arranged a Provident Pinnacle warranty for me..Since then I have averaged 12,00KM per annum.I have had one claim which was arranged seamlessly by the dealeship.The vehicle has now done 90,000 KM.Looking at all of the options and being a totally satisfied customer I have purchased a further three year warranty.

Took a vehicle warranty when we purchased our car. Recently the car broke down and taken to our local mechanic. The car took 5 weeks to fix but throughout Provident were reassuring us that the claim would be handled quickly once the final invoice was sent. I must say the turnaround was outstanding. Despite not having the car for 5 weeks it was only 24 hrs after we collected the car that everything was finalised. We only needed to pay the excess! Great work Provident!

Purchased the car 10 months ago with warranty, denied claim for failed fuel pump (a known issue apparently with this car and a non-serviceable item, ie will not be picked up at servicing) - justification was the car had done 20,000 kms without a service, as it needed to be serviced every 10,000kms or 3 times a year.EDIT: dealer in no way advised it needed to be serviced every 10k - and manufacturer servicing interval is 15k (which I was unaware of).
