The most lovely helpful people here, especially the owner. Very patient & informative while I decided which open faced helmet with visor to purchase. Have a huge range of sit on scooters/mopeds & a few stand up e-scooters. Would def recommend this place.

Customer beware...Unfortunately after being a loyal customer for several years, I was told by Shane to find another workshop to service my scooter after a disagreement over the quality of some repairs. My concern was that my scooter had sprung an oil leak 3 times in approximately 1.5 years and I wasn't satisfied with the workshops explanation. These being physical damage - I was asked if I was doing cross-country riding (I strictly only ride on city roads) and then that the hose was old and had split with age, however this was on the 3rd repair and I was told that they replaced the hose on the 2nd repair only 1 year prior...When I mentioned this, Shane implied I was lying and that they had not replaced the hose and had no record of this being charged for. However, when I followed this up by email the next day pointing out that the last 2 repairs were very similar in cost, therefore likely the hose had been replaced last time (as they definitely replaced it this time round), Shane went on to say they didn't have the records anymore and only offer a 3 month warranty on repairs. I'm going to assume most of you wouldn't be happy if a repair only lasted 3 months? He then told me not to email again.Shane is rude, arrogant and will deny fault at all costs. He would rather lose long-term customers than professionally resolve a disagreement. While he agreed to waive the fee for this most recent repair, he was extremely rude and it doesn't change the fact that it is a big inconvenience given this is my primary method of getting to work. 3 oil leaks in this timeframe is no coincidence, just go elsewhere it's not worth the hassle and the disrespect.

Scootec were great; they were knowledgeable, explained everything to us, and made sure we knew what our options were. Fantastic service, definitely recommended.

Got my bike serviced here a few times and then sold it to them when I upgraded. Very friendly and easy to work with. Highly recommend

Exceptional service from Shane at Scootec. He was very responsive to my initial enquiry email about a scooter I'd spotted online, then provided fantastic follow-through with photos of other options. I was looking at a couple of scooters (different retailers) but Shane had made the whole process so smooth, that I ended up confirming a purchase through him. He arranged the transport of the scooter to Dunedin, and the company he partnered with was equally top notch. All round, a brilliant experience!

(I believe it was the owner) very rude customer service. We were told off several time for not having all the works completed by him. We could do oil and light ourselves. Got a ‘telling off’ several times. Expensive service also.

Poor parking ! Parking it full of his plastic fantastic scooters, was very unwelcomed when I said my scooter/ moped was 1980s when asked for some basic parts. This business has no interest in servicing or maintenance just to sell you a scooter
