Gribblehirst Park Playground
Great place to chill with the kids, very relaxing for adults and relaxing for the small ones.Good - lots of car park, free too. Lots of shade over the play equipment. There is quite a bit of variety too, for smaller and bigger kids. Basketball court out back as well. Lots of green space for kids and pets.Bad - not fenced, gotta watch out for cars on the car park. Not many shops or cafes to grab food and coffee.Great park overall, really enjoyed it.

This is a great little park with a few different areas to cater for a wide range of ages. There's a flying fox and a couple of big slides plus the standard swings and smaller slides. Parking is easy too.

Great playground for kids. Has a cool zip line. Also a really long slide! Public restrooms right by for the antsy kid who has to use the restroom. Very nice for adults too

My kids love coming here. Theres something for little kids and bigger kids. Nice to sit and have picnic under the blossom tree near bbq at springtime. There used to be a huge Angry Bird in the top of the pine tree but it must have fallen down recently.

It is very close to a very busy area and doesn't have proper fencing to avoid kids running into the road. It maybe suitable for older kids but definitely not for kids less than 8 years unless someone is actively supervising them

There is something very special about this playground, it appears from the outside that it is a pretty standard playground, but no they have spec'd up some of the equipment to the next level, including a Sky Surfer swing that swings and turns. Well worth a visit, it's now in my top 5 in NZ.
