Fantastic pies and pastries in the little town of Amberley! Real fruit ice cream! Nicest owner! Easy to pass by, but definitely worth looking for. Great ending to our NZ trip!! Go there!!

Nearly anything you would like as far as pies and savouries go, with a little extra baked goods available. No need to travel as far as fairlie to get a top quality filling pie. Top notch fillings also.

Wouldn't say it's the most accurate review as I only got one pie. But at $9 a pie, it's pretty hard to walk out with anymore than one! Signs of the times?Pie was of decent quality, but for the particular pie I got, quite dry/bland in flavour and rather small.

Spectacular pie shop! We had a steak, cheese and jalapeño pie as well as a chicken and mushroom. Both awesome, perfectly seasoned, with well cooked flaky pastry. Steak, cheese and jalapeño was my favourite! We'll definitely be back.Update: I've been here about ten times now, it never disappoints!

Always helpful, Pies and cakes excellent, Cornish pasties best out of Cornwall. Pies all have nice pieces of meat or veg. Depending on what type you get, tastes great and not full of mush like some bakeries push.

This is a DEFINITE stop for the BEST pies. Amberley Pies has definitely mastered the perfect pies! The crust is perfect with a flaky yet perfect crispiness. The fillings are filled to the perfect consistency. They have mastered an even consistency of every ingredient inside. Hands down this place won our hearts & vote for the BEST PIES we had on our 2 weeks in NZ. I definitely recommend you make this 1 of your stops.

Unfortunately the worst pies we’ve eaten in a very long time, especially for the price and we had a variety. The mince and cheese was a pale pinky colour and jelly like, cheese not melted properly and like cottage cheese where it was melted. Tasted like home kill meat (that ‘bit off’ taste). I had spent some time ‘googling’ for a good pie shop on our road trip as we were craving a good pie. Only reviewing as our experience was very disappointing and costly, nowhere to sit either :(
