Harrisons Solar - Otago

Took over 6 months after giving the first Deposit for the Installation to be Completed...The subcontractor that Harrison used Installed the panels incorrectly and had to return to install them the correct way. This was after he decided not to show up for the date i was given for the Initial installation. Unfortunately this was just the tip of the iceberg of the delays regarding the install.Unprofessional and terrible experience.I would not recommend Harrison's to anyone..

We purchased a large solar system and battery with Harrison's. They didn't appear to understand all aspects of their product in depth, were keen just to make a sale rather than come up with the best solution for our household (we would have spent a lot more on an even better system, with the hindsight we have now). For example, they did not explain that our battery came with useful e-functionality that would allow us to control it from our phone or computer. We only became aware that this was an option later on, and would have used this function a lot as we need to charge our car overnight on night rates without draining the house battery. Most importantly, after sales service has been abysmal, to put it mildly. They do not return calls, or electronic requests for contact and service. We are waiting for contact regarding e-functionality to be added to our battery since January this year. We have email documentation of attempts to contact Harrisons with various other service enquiries (renovations on our home near the battery, possibly needing to move the battery location etc. No replies whatsoever. On these grounds I do not recommend them.

Rick was amazing at providing the information we needed to make our decision. The team was very professional and the installation of the system was smooth. Rick and his team took care of everything.

Rick and Sharleen made our solar experience very easy.Very informative from start to finish, the process went well from installation to completion .I would definitely recommend them to anybody thinking of installing solar to their home.
