I just had my heat pump installed today, incredibly happy, the two workers that worked on the install were incredibly helpful and respectful too. Steve was very helpful and informative when it came to choosing the best pump for my house and didn’t seem put off by my millions of questions.Overall a great and easy experience and highly recommend to anyone.

We have lived in Nelson for 15 years and were always told a heat pump in our home would not be practical.But this year, we decided to ask again. We contacted Steve and he promptly came up to the house. After a bit of measuring, he told us it would be no problem. In addition, the cost was more than fair. He provided the best high quality unit and his friendly and wonderful crew arrived right on time and did the complete install as promised. They were also extremely tidy and cleaned up everything. Very professional from start to finish! I received a call two days prior to arrange their arrival time. Steve and his worker turned up dead on the arranged time. Took their shoes off and laid down drop sheets to protect the floor start away. Very clear with instructions/explaining the process and got stuck in. Very efficient, well mannered and friendly. Would recommend A+++++

I contacted Steve to upgrade our ageing heat pumps around a year ago, and Steve visited and we discussed the options. He was open to our needs and offered advice where he thought was necessary, without being too pushy.Our install was possibly a little more complicated than usual, and we went with a new Mitsubishi wall mounted unit for one part of the house (the kitchen/dining area), and a Mitsubishi ducted unit for the other part of the house (bedrooms and living). Due to Covid, we had to wait quite some months to get the actual units but we were kept informed as so how long it might take. So eventually the wall mounted unit went in and it was / is great, especially with the optional Wifi unit, which I'd recommend.A little bit after that, again due to supply chain delays, the ducted unit was installed. This also worked really well, again we installed a wifi unit so both heat pumps can be easily controlled via an app.The only issue we encountered was the outdoor unit for the ducted system was quite noisy. The original location of the outdoor unit was at the end of the house where our bedrooms are, and so at night was reasonably intrusive. After various tests and checks for sound levels and unit integrity, Steve offered to move the outdoor unit at no cost, to the other end of the house away from bedrooms, which was a pretty decent piece of work for his team. But it was done in a day and the result was fantastic.I can whole heartedly recommend Steve and the team for Heat pump services - we had a great result and Htek showed how to provide real value to the customer.
