Young cashier rang a bell with my items and an old crew came and saw us in suspicious eyes. The cashier threw all what i purchased. With my credit card, she suddenly requested my id. HOWEVER, she didn’t explain anything about all these things. Why should i get these rude deals? Most terrible experience for two weeks inNZ

Had the BEST experience with a customer service and check out team member called Tripti! She was a true problem solver and so committed to thinking outside the box to deliver great customer service. We were struggling to get water in Cooks Beach and she really wanted to help us, coming up with a solution that was low risk to Countdown and an incredible bit of kiwi ingenuity…Shame that the online team think so differently! I guess if computer says no, they’re not up for it :( they really disappointed me by not helping Tripti with her plan to help us get some water. Slightly bizarre given how much I spend with Coutndown each year!

Nice clean store and I think the biggest supermarket in town at least for now. Good variety of products to cover most of what you're looking for. Friendly staff too which is always a win for me.

Alot more people in town this weekend but the store is still very well stocked and all checkouts open so speedy processing. Thanks team merry Christmas

It's ok. As usual another overcharge on my docket. Normally would get goods free. This time the cash difference. Always check your docket. Last time $18 overcharge. Don't like there meat
