Arrived on time for a reservation for 5 people but our table was still unavailable. Got seated at a small table with one of our party having to squat uncomfortably on a small stool. Not much effort to accommodate or tell the guests at our booked table to politely move along. Had to request to be moved after 30 minutes of waiting as had little room for all five drinks/food and was moved to a slightly larger table which wasn't much of an improvement. Despite this, the cocktails and drinks menu were 5 stars, and the food 4 stars. Although the experience was very let down by the service and communication hence 3 stars overall.

Absolutely devine and well worth the visit. Take your time, pop in here and relax to some of the best atmosphere, good and drinks I have ever had. Michaela and Arra served us and were the epitome of customer service. These ladies need a raise. Thank you so much.

The cocktails are world class and exquisite, the whiskey selection is to die for and the staff is incredibly friendly. Not to mention the fact that the staff are incredibly knowledgeable about cocktails. Definitely five out of five.

Fabulous cocktails with a cool vibe, however our platter was very average so I wouldn’t recommend the food. Also booking a table is tricky as they don’t have a phone number and they missed my initial online booking request so I had to follow up via their email address (also hard to find).

Great atmosphere. Friendly staff and the waiter was really informative. Variety of cocktails, whiskies and other liquors/alcohols available. Love the nibbles.

From interior design perspective, Kismet Bar is the place offering the inspiring.The space was created into welcoming & mysterious atmosphere, it triggers my curiosity for discovering the space.The most impressive point is more than decorating style here, the owner put the history of Nelson city inside of the materials he chose. If curious about the connection between the old pieces of wine barrel wood on the bar bench and the old painting on the wall? Go to ask the owner.Meaningful interior design should fill the cultural contents inside the space, beside the colour scheme, materials and decorations etc. here it is for one good study case.
