Auckland Rose Park Hotel

Excellent quiet place to stay, comfortable beds. Warm. Ok bathroom and good pressure with showers.We booked the room with two double beds, plenty of room for my 80 year old mother and l.They also put us on the ground level so no stairs for her was a bonus.Breakfast was well worth it. A full breakfast. Juice.coffees. cereals and yummy mushrooms, pork sausages. The works.Great view from the restaurant towards the Rose garden, which we walked over to after, lovely gardens.Staff were very helpful, front desk, we ordered room service before we walked to Spark arena. Delicious prawn dish and the service was efficient.

Not clean, rooms look very different from online. Breakfast is very poor. Only good thing was the view on the rose garden and the coffee. Bathroom looked very dirty and felt not nice to be in the room at all. Free parking is nice. 20 minute walk to city is nice.

The location was excellent for our stay in Auckland. There is fast food shops a ten minute walk away and the room we stayed in was huge and clean.

Spent 3 nights here on the recommendation of friends. Had a great meal from the restaurant, lovely comfortable beds and clean rooms. Yes, the bathroom is dated. The staff were polite, friendly and professional, even when dealing with the more demanding customers who swamped the place for the Harry Styles concert. Close to the viaduct (minutes in an uber) and city, lovely gardens over the road and a handy shopping centre nearby. It's the perfect base for a busy Auckland stay.

Restaurant food was lovely, but overpriced for what was a very simple meal. Very lovely staff throughout. Excellent location for staying at to take a family member for a day procedure at Auckland hospital. Would definitely stay again.

Super handy for Spark Arena, can walk to and from there - it’s about a 15min walk.Room simple with everything you need. Though starting to look a little old/worn in places.Staff were friendly and helpful.Would stay here again.

To where we wanted to go location was fine. 1st room not clean, shower head broken, small room over priced. Got transferred to another room. Not even an apology just no maintenance person about. A small offer of a discount would've gone a long way. Not clean, very noisy no double glazing. Could hear people talking on the road side. Staff could do with more training in customer service like a smile, welcoming greeting wouldn't recommend to anyone

Room was spotlessly clean. Staff were very helpful, service was great. So handy to the Spark Arena, Broadway etc. Have stayed at the Rose previously and will do so again. Thank you Team.

Great location and very central. The room is very good for its age. The bed was very comfortable but the bathroom was a bit dated. The food was average and the noise was a bit much. However it did its job and was sufficient for a couple of night’s accommodation
