Featherston Dog Park
Great all grass dog park. Large, open, fenced off space for your dog to run around. Dog poo bags and bins provided as well as water for your pooch. Two seated areas with a little shade as well. Never overly busy either.

Awesome fully fenced dog park with an entrance at each end. Both entrances have a double gate to stop dogs bolting. There are some ramps, cable reels and tires set up for training activities. There is a dog trough at the northern end along with a small shelter that we hid from the rain in. There are plenty of poop bags available. And we meet a lovely lady who had been planting trees and bushes there to help provide protection and some fruit and bring some of the native birds in. Fejoa and apple trees.

Our dogs are safe now that theirs extra fencing wire put around to keep them inthank you so much for making the dog park a better place

Fantastic spot to stop and give the dogs a run when passing through! Well maintained and safe environment for them, wish we had something like this at home

This is such a great place 90% of the time. Normally, we have the park to ourselves or one or two other dogs. Wide open spaces to run and toys to play on.Like any place you have a small percentage who don't seem to care and are willing to ruin it for others. On those days we just go home

Nice charming simple place. Just a big open fenced space that's good for doggies to run around and socialise. Signs of recent natives planting around the perimeter are promising and hope it can get some shelter soon too.

Love this dog park. It has agility obstacles, water trough, rubbish bins and some shade/seating. Not muddy either. And we went on a winter day when it had been raining during the week. We will use the dog park again.
