Genuine Kerala food can only be found at one suitable location.Although there is a delay because of a staff shortage, the food is worth the wait because it tastes better.

I went out for with my friends for dinner here last night and ordered Porota, Rumali roti , Beef roast , fish Nirvana, chicken fry, Lime juice and fruit salad. Fish nirvana was too creamy and doesn’t taste good. Lime juice was too sweet . I GOT A BROKEN PIECE OF GLASS FROM THE FRUIT SALAD AM SO LUCKY TO BE ALIVE IT WAS IN MY MOUTH AND GOT CUT . I told the guy who served us food and he didn’t even care . So if u wana live longer and don’t order food from here. Thank you

Besides various warnings about the food and service we decided to take a chance and try the restaurant.The ambience was ok .we ordered our first dish which came out uncooked.The next order was for a beef Biriyani which was a total joke.The porotta, appam, and beef fry was average.The drinks ordered in the beginning was reminded twice and came out at last. No drinking water or cutleries were given. Takeaway order was place at the beginning of our meal, when we went to make the payment, they said they forgot the order we had given for takeaway.Overall 0/5 for service,1.5/5 for food.Good Luck Team Marine Drive.

Such a bad experience. We just cancelled our order and left becos the man in-charge was just taking his own time, I pre ordered 30mins ago, waited there another 15 mins and he comes up with the wrong order. When we stepped in he didn't even know which was our order so instead of clarifying he went in and got the wrong order, when we rang the bell he said, bro could please wait for 2 mins, there are too many orders. He was so rude .. even asked us do u want pothichoru in plate or banana leaf"

Much disappointed with Pothichoru. Bought this with lot of expectations from the advertised pictures.Not impressive with the overall atmosphere.Beef ularthiyathu was tasty but chunky pieces.Kerala porotta was extraordinary. Loved it.

Amazing pothichoru experience...had something traditional after a long time living in NZ. My Fiancé and I really enjoyed every mouthful of it. Very happy and will definitely go back.

Terrible customer service. Their online ordering system does not work and it takes ages and ages (sometimes 30 min) to take orders. More than half of the dishes in the menu are actually not there. No water is served and it takes the serving staff ages to bring water when asked. Today, they served me water in a cup with some rice in it. I felt they had served me in a cup without washing it. Finally I lost my patience and I will not patronise them again.
