Awesome dining experience! great atmosphere, beautiful food, and the best service we’ve had in years from Harry (our waiter), who was attentive, super friendly and a real character. Particularly impressed with his sense of humour - his reference of “warm potato salad with tomato emulsion” (fries & ketchup) was a highlight.Will definitely be back!

One of the best dining experiences I have ever had at Waiheke. Waiheke is our family’s favourite day trip destination, but I can't believe how we could have missed the Heke Kitchen before. Very friendly staff and the foods are just beautiful. The smashed burger is a must-have and remember to add crispy bacon. Decent sized pizza is enough for two kids to share. Lastly, if you are a craft beer lover, you have to try their APA and hazy.Will definitely come back again.

I loved the food, which was absolutely delicious. The vibes and the scenery was great too. Although we did get a little confused about how we were supposed to order the food as they initially asked us to scan the barcode at the table to order, but ended up ordering at the bar, we enjoyed our meals and also the lovely scenery and views after all! Also there are some great spots for photos.

Beautiful food, service was amazing. Only down side was it was freeeeezing. The kind waitress sat us next to a heater but it was still v cold... kids played outside on this huge tramp but it was wet and they got v dirty. Even next to the open fire it was cold.Great delicious food & cocktails and service was speedy.Did a Whisky tasting for fun which was good too but rather expensive at $35.

This is one of these places which are unpretentious, relaxed, hilarious team members, great food and and an excellent drinks menu. It’s a great place for kids as there are a few play equipment. Well behaved dogs are welcome too. The pork belly was a stand out here! Great place to try Waiheke made beer, whiskey and gin. You can order a flight to sample each.

Stunning venue with a relaxed atmosphere. Really friendly staff and you order your food from the QR code at the table. We had the fried chicken and the fish whip, both of which were really good. There are also free outdoor games you can play with while enjoying your food and drinks. Highly recommend!

Heke restaurant serves possibly the best wood-fired pizza bases I've ever tasted - fluffy and flavorful! However, the capricciosa pizza's cheese lacked taste and was somewhat bland. It's a shame the margarita pizza was not on the latest menu.The atmosphere is really good, as the place was packed during Sunday lunchtime. Booking in advance is highly recommended. Even sitting outdoors in July, the presence of a fireplace and overhead heaters kept us nice and toasty.This restaurant is perfect for families with kids, as there are plenty of outdoor activities, including a trampoline pillow and a sandpit. Additionally, we had a fantastic waiter who contributed to the overall good vibes.

Amazing service! The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The smash burger is one of the best burgers my partner and I have ever had! Fried chicken really good too. To top it off their on tap Larger and Gin Fizz were delightful. Prices are very fair. Will definitely be recommending The Heke :)
