Canyoning Aotearoa

Had the BEST time with Canyoning Aotearoa. We had a group of ten who went Canyoning in Nelson Lakes (which was a great group size). The guides were incredible and cheered us on at every opportunity. They made sure we had fun while ensuring we felt safe. They dealt with feelings of nervousness perfectly. Their instructions were clear, everything was super organised, and we had no issues trusting them. It's really incredible the skills they have and I'd definitely recommend every New Zealander and tourist to give this ago. Bloody amazing.

Absolutely a 10/10 experience! Our guides Adrien and Tobyn were fantastic leading us through the canyon with lots of laughs and at times, a good amount of encouragement! We had a range of nervousness levels in the group and Canyoning Aotearoa was able to cater for us all - leaving us all beaming at the end! Experiencing the adventure that Canyoning Aotearoa offer is an absolute must - we will definitely look to do this again.

I had an epic experience canyoning through Hidden Falls! If you're looking for a fun, thrilling adventure amongst the most stunning scenery then this half day trip is a must do! This was my first time canyoning so I was a little nervous. I felt so safe with Adrien and Camille who are both experts. You guys rock!

I loved this experience, it has a so many parts to it and each part becomes a sum of the total buzz. The amazing scenery, being in a normally inaccessible location, pushing my boundaries a little, getting some exercise and seeing a part of one of NZ's beautiful national parks that is well off the beaten track.One of the most lasting memories will be the atmosphere of the canyon with mist and wind created from the water falls it is like a movie with a surrounding frame of lush green foliage and moss dominated by the rocks and cliffs high above you.It really is one of those things you need to do and experience to fully comprehend how big an impact it will have on you.

What a great adventure for a wet day in Nelson Lakes! A trip across beautiful Lake Rotoiti and then to Hidden Falls to experience canyoning in our most luscious bush. Adrien and team provided a great adventure abseiling, sliding, jumping, and ziplining down beautiful waterfalls. We had a blast! I would highly recommend, even to those new to these types of adventures, Adrien will support you through the tricky bits, and loads of advice and preparation meant I never felt worried or under-prepared.

We didn't know what to expect as we've never done before, but it was such a wonderful experience!It looks challenging but it's something we all can do, Adrien and the team explained everything to us to feel safe and confident to go down those beautiful falls.had such a great time. highly recommended if you are in Nelson!
