Absolutely love this place, food is amazing and the staff are so friendly. They have really good service and make sure to get your food out fast. I recommend the southern mac, the mex and the onion rings are to die for!!!

Wholy Mac - Mac and cheese
First time trying wholy Mac and I definitely rate it! I ordered the southern fried chicken and Mac and cheese and the jalapeño bites and even had enough for lunch the next day! Def keen to try the rest of the menu. Was a little pricey for one person but def worth it as I ordered through DoorDash if you’re looking for a decent Mac and cheese then this is the place to go! :)

The food is average but for a place that specialises in Mac and cheese I thought it would be amazing. The cheese sauce was not very thick and slightly watery. They also used pre grated cheese which affected the texture and the taste was pretty bland. The fried chicken on top was overcooked and cut in really into large pieces making it difficult to cut with a plastic fork. As someone who loves Mac and cheese I was very excited for this place but if I had made it myself I would have been pretty disappointed. It feels like whoever owns this place has put no time or research into the cheese sauce which should be the star of the show.

WOAP ‘22 burger The Daddy Mac is a mouthful. Luckily the supplied doofer helps you tackle this brisket filled beast. Good gooey flavours with the signature mac n cheese patty but I’d probably recommend a few dashes of hot sauce to cut through the gravy. I give it five stars coz it’s perfect for a cold cloudy Sunday but it’s probably a quantity over quality burger. Will still have to return for that fried chicken mac n cheese.

Wholy Mac - Mac and cheese
Loved everything about Wholly Mac when it was in Petone.Amazing mac and interesting too.I recommended it to many people, and been by several times, and had delivery at least as many.But now with the move, I'm devastated and outside of the delivery radius.So if you're close, go love it!If you're not: feel bitter and betrayed.

It's a small cozy restaurant with a really good ambience.A lot of mac and cheese options are available with fried chicken being the most popular one.I also tried the fried chicken one and it was cheesy and yummy with lots of chicken pieces.Better to go for the larger portion with the extra 4$ you will get almost double the size and can be shared among 2 people.

Food was a bit underwhelming. The cheese on top wasn’t fully melted and with only a plastic fork given out I couldn’t easily break it apart. Same with full pieces of pepperoni. Not super flavourful. I guess if a place chooses to focus on only one thing, it should be done very well. Lovely staff though.
