Have loved this place for many years, food is still as good as it was 20yrs ago. Classic Rawhiti breakfast special and French toast with streaky bacon, banana and maple syrup.Yummo!

The owners. Evelyn and Simon at Rawhiti cafe serve so much good food. The Eggs Benedict is so delicious and filling. And I love their mocha's. My go to for a great coffee! For a hearty meal kiwi style its here.

Saturday 10th SeptApprox 8.20am on my way to work.I called in paid for Croissant had lettuce in it, not sure why as lettuce and heat dont go well in my taste buds, Ham Cheese Tomato yes.How ever the Mince and Cheese pie was cold too Warmish. Would of been nice if it was hot, so by time i got to work be hot to warmish, as i just work around the cafeWont return

If you want great food , great service . do not come here . you will learn the hard way if you do come here to eat .food comes unprepared, at different times, cannot get orders right . we have been coming here for 5+ years and never have I seen this place so bad.food is mediocre at best . found eggshells in the eggs that were served fried, except specifically asked for poached and scrambled.Toast barely toasted, if you want butter make sure you ask for it because apparently they dont use butter.give it a miss. Go to TDO or coffee club .ended up getting refund for breakfast for 3 people and left .NO MORE RAWHITIS CAFE FOR US EVER.
