Middle Earth Adventure Park
Locally built from driftwood and random junk, this place is anything but. It is a fantastic area to spend an afternoon with the kids and to enjoy a wonderfully shaded area. Hidden away, but surrounded by art and nature

What an incredible place to bring children. So many opportunities for play. Assault courses and climbing and swings. The flying fox is awesome. Forest area for building dens. John has outdone himself and should be so proud of what he has been able to offer the community.

Amazing little park in a beautiful setting. You have to park at the end of Rua Street and you will see a little walkway/access into the trees. Follow the pathways to the left and keep walking either behind the houses or through the trees and in a few minutes you will see this magical playground. Loved it here!

Middle Earth Adventure Park
Enter via Rua Street. A challenging adventure playground, including a track to balance on/hang from/leap across. Also has a flying Fox, various swings, huts...DIRECTIONS: Enter via Rua St (see photo), then turn inland/east/left. Walk a few minutes along the fence passed the Fairy Garden. This is not the fairy garden.

What an amazing place! Someone has put a lot of time and love into creating a space for kids to play and importantly create and learn.The flying fox is an experience in itself up, this should be at the top of any adventure tourists bucket list. For a moment you will lose all faith in the stopping power of a couple of tyres.
