Amazing, amazing, amazing. My wonderful friend and I decided to let the chef decide what food we would have for our three course meal. We are both pescatarian. Each course was exquisite, with tantalizing flavours and each mouthful was eaten slowly to savour every moment. Presentation of meals were beautiful and Nigel explained what each dish held, he was also very attentive to our needs. Amelia asked us how we were and if we were enjoying our meals" to which I replied "absolutely

This is an amazing dinning experience. The food is exquisite and you just want to take small bites to savour the flavours. The service and inviting atmosphere adds to an overall A+ rating. We will be returning customers for sure!

One of the best brunch meals I've had in a long time. Everything was just spot on. Loved the fact that the Benedict came with hot smoked salmon rather than cold. The buttermilk fried chicken was crunchy and juicy and great Asian flavours with the coriander - highly recommended. Black garlic polenta chips were just that - black! Looked great and tasted just as good. Blueberry hotcakes were another hit. A bit of a crunch to the hotcake, served with plums, mascarpone and Whittaker's choc sauce. Great way to finish with something sweet. Also amazing service. Lovely, helpful and very friendly. Charming atmosphere in the restaurant itself, although we couldn't resist sitting outside on such a beautiful day. Would definitely go back next time I'm visiting Hamilton.Update: it was so good we went back for breakfast the next day. The stroganoff gnocchi in creamy mushroom sauce with steak was THE BEST, Thai red curry with buttermilk fried chicken was also packed full of yummy flavours and I would definitely get it again.

Went for a date night here recently. Was really interested in doing a trust the chef but there was so much good stuff on the general menu that we had to order the six dishes we wanted. Everything was delicious. They don’t have an alcohol menu. You can order in or bring your own for a corkage, but their mocktails are really good especially the plum one! We will have to return for a trust the chef because friends have recommended it.

Thyme Square Restaurant
We booked a table for three for dinner before lockdown and it was fantastic. The place is super cosy, very inviting, warm and beautiful, and the service was friendly. The food came out in a timely manner and was well presented. Everything tasted exactly like how it looked and was very fresh. Pricing is a little on the pricier side but well worth the money for how much effort goes in to the food. Looking forward to dining here again!

Lovely old villa converted to restaurant so a number of spaces you can be seated in, makes it easier to create atmosphere filling each space at a time. Popular as we were there Wed and full by the time we finished.Staff were friendly and approachable and perfectly attentive.Opted for Trust the Chef and did not disappoint, great combination of flavours and textures across the 3 courses - pork belly and calamari to start Beef Wellington (so good!) for main and a lighter poached pear and deep fried ice-cream dessert.BYO wine a great option.Definitely recommend, will be looking for reasons to return!

Chef Logan truly creates some edible masterpieces, but the lamb rump I had the other day surpassed any protein I've had before. (Spoiled me).Same was said by my partner and friends regarding the beef wellington and pork belly.

Cozy atmosphere with the candles lit on every table, and a nice selection of music for the background.The food was excellently made and tasted wonderful. The crackling was enjoyably crunchy, and the pork was delightful to the tastebuds, with its side of mash potato and asparagus.The Wellington was also delicious and enjoyed.The server was very welcoming and pleasant.I enjoy the idea of BYO alcoholic beverages, though did not this time and just had the tap water provided by the server.

Some of the best food I've had in Hamilton! Really creative dishes with delicious vegetarian options. The setting is intimate with various rooms and romantic lighting and excellent service. The fact it is byo is an added bonus!
