A very nice secluded spot in the East cost bays in Wellington.Easily approachable via public transport and road too.The views from the point are awesome and exceptional on a clear sunny day.The walks to the point and down to Breakers Bay are enjoyable and require a normal fitness level. The large ships sailing through the Wellington harbour can be seen from here and present a great sight.Fort Dorset is also a nice little attraction to be visited here.Well recommended for half a day trip and picnic.

Another great Wellington coastal walk close to the city. The coastal track is also suitable for walking dogs and all levels of fitness

A very exciting point to inspect all of Wellington Harbour. Must have been a powerful spot back in the day. Please be careful when taking photos on the little outcrop as a strong gust of wind could blow a more frail human tumbling down to the rocks below.

An enjoyable viewpoint with views across the harbor and out to sea, beach is rocky mostly small rocks. Can see the cook strait ferries passing by which is exciting. Can be a bit precarious climbing over the rocks for a view right off the point. There are also sometimes hordes of some kind of fly amongst the rocks, which can be off-putting, quite literally a thick cloud of them. I only approached from the north side, not breaker bay side.
