This is the perfect place for a relaxed early evening drink and dinner. My friend and I spent a lovely couple of hours here on a warm evening, enjoying the gorgeous view, fabulous friendly service and delicious food. The atmosphere is relaxed and refined, with early evening drinks specials including Moet by the glass for $15 or $75 for a bottle, and free bar snacks. We loved it and will definitely be back. Footnote - the ladies powder is very, very nice with fragrant diffusers, 'Aromotherapy' candles and lovely handwash and hand lotions.

Friendly service, great food and nice atmosphere. I wouldn't have ordered the garlic bread if they told that bread and butter would be served prior to main meal - the knife was useless couldn't cut the bread as it was too tough, wasn't ideal for sharing meal. The prawn risotto and mushroom pizza were fantastic! Absolutely will be back, now I know what must to go!

Really nice, I enjoyed that they had a little gift bag for the kids and a menu for kids, which was $25 for a drink,mains, and a dessert. The food was great, and I will definitely recommend it.

The second in Auckland we wanted to stay in downtown but were craving some Italian food, so we stopped at Bivacco.They were accommodating our group of 6 and arranged the tables available.The pizza was really nice (very close to realItalian pizza as our Italian friend said) and sitting outside directly at the harbour was great too.Only down side is, that we got 4 pizzas and had to wait for the other two as the oven is not big enough to bake them at once.

Came here to celebrate my friend’s birthday. We opted to seat outdoors. For starters we had bluff oysters and mozarella sticks then for the mains we had the goats cheese ravioli, the beef tongue and the mushroom pizza. The goats cheese ravioli is to die for. I can’t count how many times I said it’s so yum. The beef tongue is a must try and the mushroom pizza is definitely a favorite. But the highlight for me is their tiramisu. The presentation and the taste is superb! Such a happy ending for a night’s meal. Staff were friendly and prompt in their service.

From the delicious food to the stunning view, everything was top-notch. My favorite dish was the beef carpaccio, which was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor.The service from girl at the front desk was exceptional and very knowledgeable about the menu.

I guess my expectations were high knowing the chef was a former the grove. I think there's heaps of better Italian places than this, luckily they are in a very good location al fresco dining. It's only the Milanese for me that was good the rest were ok edible. The service was good accommodating but not intrusive. The olive oil ice cream was split disgusting I had a good number of olive oil ice cream before but I'll need sometime to recover from that. Considering the concept is sharing I find that some dishes were too small to share.

The food is fine but the service is not really great. First of all, we made the reservation and the front desk let us wait outside like 15 minutes. When we started our order and we didn’t ask for any recommendations, the person always wanted us to order something else instead. We had this steak and wanted some salt and pepper. We have tried to call someone to bring us the stuff, they just totally ignored our waving and it made us look kind of stupid. Anyway, food is fine but the service is terrible. You can’t lower your service standards just because of it’s a currently popular restaurant. You need good service to keep loyal customers.

We came here after seeing the happy hour ads. The staff seemed to not completely understand the conditions of the happy hour or weren't able to explain it to us very well. We booked a table outside which had a lovely feel but when we asked to buy the happy hour drinks the waiter said he couldn't serve us outside and didn't explain why. We made out way to the bar and ordered our drinks to take back to the table but they then told us we wouldn't get the food outside. It was all very confusing at first to us, and the extremely loud music didn't help. Why restaurants think blasting music is what we want at 5 pm is beyond me.We didn't want to sit inside because we couldn't talk to each other but that was the only place they were serving the happy hour food. In the end, we came inside but only got one arancini ball. Felt quite ripped off and ended up leaving and going somewhere else for dinner.They were also filming that evening, so there were cameras everywhere, including one waiter with a go pro on his chest. We felt a bit weird about it and thought they should had said something when we came in.Don't think I'd go back based on my experience.
