Carpet Court Thorndon Quay

Made purchase with Carpet Court Thorndon almost 2 years ago, it was a very pleasant experience and the staff were friendly and helpful. The installers did an amazing job too. Almost 2 years later, our carpet is still good as new just as promised by the sales rep, also keep in mind we have couple of fur babies running around all the time. Would recommend this place based on our personal experience.

Shannon from Carpet Court Thorndon led us through an enjoyable experience for getting out laminate flooring done in our Kitchen, Family room, hallway, toilet and Laundery (90sqm). Kinda the lead layer, laid our flooring to perfection. He advised on how to make the final finish just that much better especially where the existing skirtings were not there in the first instance. They promised 5 days and it was done, as out job crossed a weekend, he made sure our living area was all complete before the weekend, which was great. So 5 stars to Shannon and Kinda the floor layer.

Disgusting behaviour from new manager Wayne. Heard him Talking about women in derogatory ways and using abusive words. Utterly disgraceful behaviour. Completely unprofessional and would not recommend at all.

Our sales consultant listened to us and made great recommendations. The installation was seamless and we are so impressed with the final outcome, the carpet looks amazing. Gutted about our experience with Carpet Court Thorndon Quay. One of the staff seemed to help" us and do us a "favour" to measure other areas of the house for our renovation project. But she turned back and said she would only release the measurements when we accept the quote.Due to the house being talented

We have just had Carpet Court in Thorndon Quay supply and install Korlok planks in our kitchen and lounge. The service was terrfiic, the sales person was amazing and the installers did a first class job leading to a wonderful finish and terrific overall experience. I had the most-favourable experience re-carpeting my 3 level 1990s home. Tod at the Thornton shop was OTT helpful, and friendly. Dipping the carpet in wine did the trick to convince me to get Rhino. However, everyone I dealt with there was helpful. Even the installers they hired were , speedy, efficient, and tidy. Throughout the process everyone arrived when they said they would (which isn’t usual in today’s environment). Now my place looks like new!

We had an amazing experience carpeting our house, we'd recently renovated and needed to replace the old carpet and add carpet to our additional storey. We dealt with Anna who was efficient and listened to what we were after. It was our first time choosing carpet and with 3 kids we wanted something that would be practical and last. She also easily identified which colours I wanted from my vague description and was able to share several samples that we loved and it meant the choice wasn't overwhelming. We were happy we could book in our time earlier than we thought, the installers were punctual and did an amazing job splitting it over two days, we requested this so we could move furniture around and fix any squeaky floorboards. Nothing was an issue in our journey. After all this we even came in under budget! We will be recommending Carpet Court Thorndon to all our family and friends. Thanks Anna and the rest of the team for such an easy process, we love our carpet and a few months in it has well and truly passed the kid test well!

Sales rep came to view existing flooring and measure the space.I chose from the options presented by sales rep, paid the deposit, and had gas oven removed by gas-fitter the day before the flooring was supposed to go in.On the day it was booked, I get a call to say they couldn't put vinyl over tiles even with a subfloor (even though the sales rep knew what the existing flooring was).To their credit, about two weeks later they offered a better product at the same cost as it was apparently the only product that could go over tiles. I don't actually like the look of this product but at least it's done now!Unfortunately the next appointment came and went without any flooring going down - they came into the house but didn't install it. I'm still not sure why..It took another week or so of me ringing and emailing to finally get another appointment.Third time was lucky - the installation was pretty great, however I was disappointed that they had left the toilet pipe leaking (when they unscrewed it) and had just left a wad of soggy toilet paper to absorb the spill without actually letting me know. Now I have to pay for a plumber to come and fix it.The worst part was being without an oven and having all the other whiteware in our lounge for over a month with small kids to feed, when I had the gas fitter booked for the day before and after the flooring was supposed to be put down. I had to rebook the plumber several times due to Carpet Court Thorndon repeatedly moving the goalpost on us.A horrible experience, actually had me feeling like they just didn't want to deal with me :(Have learned how not to provide customer service for my own business though!

We recently had a fantastic experience with Carpet Court in Thorndon. Anna came to our home and helped us select the perfect colour and type of carpet for our living and bedroom spaces as well as flooring for our kitchen and laundry. We found her to be extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I can’t fault her service and we are extremely happy with the product. We also visited the lovely showroom in Thorndon Quay. We found the of Carpet Court price to be much more reasonable than prices of their competitors. I would recommend Carpet Court in Thorndon 100%.
