The crinkle chips were perfectly cooked and delicious! The coating used on the fried ice cream was almost cake like rather than the usual stodgy batters around town with a touch of coconut which was delicious. The hot dogs were lightly battered and delicious too. The meatlover burger was massive in size but average in ingredients used.Would recommend to anyone in the area!

Passing thru Leeston and we felt like fish & chips. Lots of positives…. big shop with tables to dine in, clean, extensive menu & friendly staff. Food itself was average tho. Not great but not awful. Battered blue cod was $13.50 per piece so hoping it was cooked from fresh. But sadly it seemed pre-cooked, otherwise it wasn’t fresh. Chips were ok. The burgers and Chinese options looked really nice so might try those next time.

Had a Blue Cod very small and overcooked, was unusual as we're regular customers. Mentioned it at the next visit as I was leaving, forgot about it, but when I went to pick up our order tonight, I was reminded and given a full credit. Thank you for putting it right even after I had completely forgotten about it. Great service which is normally great as is the food!

Ordered combination eggfo young on Saturday. It tasted really bad full of oil. Phoned in and explained that it wasn't good. They did they say that they would phone me back and didn't. Not happy

Average grease for an honest feed, give the burgers a miss, scoops are decent size, garlic butter makes it slide down the old pie hole a bit easier. If you can't be bothered driving an extra 10min to southbridge then leeston takeaways is easier than cooking.

Not up to the normal yummy tonight.. fish good.. meat pattie tasty but over cooked and oily but very salty. Scoop size perfect. But chips did look not so plump.

The food was nice. They were extremely busy so it took a while but there was plenty of space for people to sit and wait.
