I have been buying food from this place for past 4 years at least twice a week but believe months ago there is change of ownership the service has become pathetic now. Will quote some examples!!Before they had spicy butter chicken ( already made) which I always buy but not they don't and when I ordered spicy B/C without asking they add chilli flakes. Come on you should advise clients that you no longer have spicy B/C and ask if they would like or prefer chilli flakes, just don't go add it yourself.Before portion used to come with decent amount of meat but now only 3 to 4 pieces (small container)PS: Hey these are my experiences and personal opinion, others might have their own opinions.

Another great bunch of folks, always kind and positive. Every time I go here which isn't often they always bring top quality food but more importantly, top quality attitude. Awesome guys keep at it. God bless

Been frequenting jewel of bombay for takeaway lunches, and their lunch special (rice, bain-marie dish, roti & drink) is great value. I've tried all of the dishes in the bain-marie, but for me, the butter chicken really stood out. If this spot is nearby, definitely worth a try. note - there are a few chairs for dine in, but the intent is takeaway.

By far the best buttered chicken ever! I've tried all other places but this one has the best! They even do hot chips with buttered chicken sauce & it's a YES from me! All their other dishes are good too & the naan bread is to die for. Customer service is awesome! I could go on lol. Hands down the best Indian takeaway in South Auckland
