Beautiful store, Jacqueline is amazing! The wonderful young girl even helped me take my treasures to the car. They didn’t mind a toddler roaming around like a little hulk. Impressed!

Bought a couple a varses from freedom, looked great in the house but when put to the test, had flowers in one leaked all over the table. Took it back to the shop and was refunded without any problem. Thank you freedom.

I ordered a sofa and was told it would be 16 weeks and I would need to pay 50% upon order and 50% delivery. They asked for remaining 50% after 16 weeks saying sofa was in country, and now 3 weeks later (19 weeks) they are saying it's delayed by a further 27 days. No apology, my request to return 50% until delivery refused and customer service is rude and abysmal. The worse I have ever experienced and will not use in the future. Avoid.

Pru went above and beyond the call of duty to help us get our sofa delivered last minute. Appreciated as we also were juggling out 3 month old! Thanks Pru and this great sofa deal.

Purchased a couch few months ago. Staff in the store were lovely and very helpful.I'm giving 1 star because of our experience after receiving the couch, having a fault with it and the subsequent lack of service to get the issue resolved. It's been 5 months now I believe since the fault of collapsed foam in 1 of the 2 main cushions. We still have half an uncomfortable couch, have not heard anything about when replacement will happen and we try to contact customer service but never get returned calls. At the point where I want my money back!

The WORST customer service I have ever experienced!! Went into store approx. 5weeks ago for curtains (first weekend on L2) and they didn’t have ANY of the style, even on display, and was told they would need to get them from their Hamilton store. Whilst I understand there was a delay with couriers initially, after two weeks of continuous calls to the store and being told to either “phone back tomorrow” or “they were on their way”, I was called today to say they hadn’t been sent and now they could only supply half of what was required!I’ve never dealt with such an incompetent company!! Absolutely disgraceful and I would NOT recommend to anyone!!

It seems as though most of the low ratings for this store are to do with delivery. I have only shopped at the store in person and have always found the staff to be helpful & friendly. Some items are possibly a little overpriced, even in the sale but there is a reasonable selection and I have always found what I’ve been looking for.

Bought an item months ago from Freedom, no response to emails, phone calls, voicemails. Item massively delayed - would be careful buying online at the moment as they seem to be struggling fulfilling orders.

Helen was amazing! She was so helpful! She was helping my nana choose some cushions that matched her couch. She really took the time to make sure she was happy with her purchase. Really outstanding customer service!

Spent thousands on a lounge suite recently and paid for the warranty/cover for spillage. Split some coffee rang them. Get told we actually have to lodge it with another company that is based in Australia. Call them, it's Australia Day so closed. Call them back the next day and have to email evidence. Done. No reply. Call them again, they half apologise and arrange someone to come. No one comes. Ring them again and they say they've contacted a 'local' company. It's Auckland Anniversary by then so it's another day we can't contact anyone. That company finally gets in touch and says it'll be a few weeks before they can do the job - won't the stain be harder to remove??? Call the NZ company again a few days later after not hearing anything. Turns out they aren't local and are based over an hour an a half away and actually won't come to do the job at all. Ring Freedom to inform them. They tell me they can't help" and I have to ring the Australian company again. What a joke. I've spent over 20k with Freedom in the last couple of years but this was probably my last purchase. You can't sell a warranty or service and not honour it and refuse any responsibility to fulfil it. Abysmal experience. Order number #6050020006434 Sort it out and I will consider amending my review"
