I used them for touring both the North and South Island of New Zealand.Chelsea was great from start to end. Great flexible service.One of the planned activities was cancelled due to weather. One quick phone call to their free number and something else was found and booked for half an hour later !Highly recommended!

I have traveled to New Zealand from San Francisco in March 2023 and my trip on South Island was organized by Carly Baker from Thrifty Tours. I am extremely pleased with the service I received. Carly was very responsive to my preferences and we made most of of the arrangements by phone (she would call me to my US number). She was kind and very reliable. The hotels and transport were perfect. The guides knowledgeable and kind. I have only words of praise for Carly and the Thrifty Tours. I would use their services again.

Angela Winton from Thrifty Tours booked a tour through the South Island of New Zealand for me, my husband and our daughter from 10 April - 18 April. Included was a 5 day tour from Christchurch, to Dunedin, Queenstown, Milford Sound and Mt Cook and back to Christchurch. We never had to worry about being picked up at our destination or transported to the place of departure during the whole tour. Our accommodation was excellent with friendly hosts all the way and always within reach of pick up points, restaurants and places of interest. The transportation was very good and excelled our expectations. We enjoyed every minute of our tour and realize that this could only have been accomplished through the professional way Angela booked and arranged everything for us. Sabina Dinn and Thirty Tours/New Zealand Fine Dining did an amazing job putting together a New Zealand and Australia trip for my sister and myself. Thrifty Tours worked creatively around our schedule to fit into it various of their package tours. They accommodated our desires to stay in some locations longer than 'typical' and to combine self-driving segments with buses, trains, planes, and ferries. Al in all, they provided an individualized itinerary that provided us with an wonderful trip in New Zealand.

I have been in a glass-roofed coach from Queenstown to Milford sound and Luke,the driver was amazing, very informative, very professional and the long day went so smoothly, it is very important to have such a good driver like Luke and excellent guide tour.
