My go-to for bubble milk tea! I usually get an oat-milk tea latte, and change up the flavour every time. It's nice and cosy, and the staff are super friendly and polite. Service is very quick so it's great for people on the go! Would absolutely recommend

Tried Chatime a few times, and love their bubble tea! I tried the Signature Milk Tea during their Grand Opening, but unfortunately they ran out pearls. However, the staff were kind enough to swap for pudding or grass jelly! Second visit, I tried the Brown Sugar Latte with Pearls. THIS WAS SO GOOD!!! Recently, we also had Chatime at our University Student Club Welcoming Event. We had both milk and fruit bubble teas, and pictured is Mango QQ. SO DELICIOUS! The team are also super friendly and hard-working! Thanks Chatime :)

My partner is a long time fan of Cha time in Australia and introduced it to me when I visited. We have been waiting for it to come to Christchurch ever since he moved over here. It was definitely worth the wait! The new shop is cute and the staff are super friendly. Understandably they have been quite busy during their opening weeks so some days have had a bit of a wait but that will likely improve with time. The drinks are yummy and there is a good variety of pearls and drinks to choose from. I love the honeydew melon slush with yin yang pearls. My only hope is that they will implement reusable cups at some point but I don't think any of the cha times do this yet.

It is a shame to have a rather shocking experience at this Chatime where originated from Taiwan, known for warm and elite hospitality and customer service. However, I was denied the access to the toilet after expressing the interest of buying some tea to take away. I wonder if you will be treated the same visiting Starbucks or other eatery, beverage stores as it might be compulsory to offer to public access to rest with hand washing tub. Not to mention, I was told to wait after entering the store, I had to loudly announce myself with a big HI" to catch attention to then told to wait for the store manager to continue on their coaching sesssion. Shame that Cha time did not deliver pan Starbucks service while it claimed Cha time aiming to follow Starbuck's footsteps to be the leader in this world acclaimed Taiwanese 5 star beverage products/service."

Great Chatime. The staff wad always friendly (we visited 3 times during our trip). The tea tasted good each time, we got many different flavours.It's easy to find and there's lots of parking.I wish they offered soy milk (but they do have oat milk).

Service and staff is good and friendly but the milk tea is bad. We ordered 3 drinks and it was just bland. We ordered the drinks at 30% sugar but we always do that in some other milktea shops or Chatime branches but here it was just meh. We barely finished our drinks.

Today in the shop, my three year old child vomited on the floor. I told one of the shop staff. The other shop staff came out and passed me the plastic bag and told me here is a tissue : you can wipe it up yourself and “take your time”. I wiped the floor, the staff reminded me “here are more tissues” , “you just take your time”. So I wiped second time to make sure it’s all cleaned.I can feel the whole shop was so quite and everyone was watching us. I didn’t like the way the shop staff handled this, it made me feel very uncomfortable and embarrassed. My child vomited , it’s an accident an awkward enough situation as it is... I don’t feel respected as a customer (we regularly buy drinks in this shop) there.I felt they could have shown some empathy for me and been more respectful by simply coming around from behind the counter and showing support.I will never comeback to this shop again.

pearl were run out and takes 45 mins to be ready. Then ordered Oolong milk tea but it was too milky. It’s new shop and staff are friendly, hope drink quality get improve

Edit: Owner has offered me a replacement and has taken steps to improve the drink. My order was satisfactory. I’ve changed the rating to reflect the sincerity of the business to make sure customers are satisfied and the pride to provide a good product. Very much appreciated and respected.Original review: I usually don’t have high expectations of milk tea but today my order was so bad, it compelled me to write a review. The consistency of my drink was super thin, super diluted in flavour(except for sweetness). It was like a whole cup of ice had already melted in my drink! Super disappointing. You can see how thin the consistency is in the picture.The lady in the shop kindly helped me add a little more sugar after I gave her feedback, but still, it didn’t help much.
