Matatu Reserve
Wow. I love this reserve. The lakes attract bird life and people enjoying walking and cycling. There is a playground at one end by a small shopping centre with lots of families present. I went for the walk and really loved the use of railway sleepers creatively on paths, sculptures and banks. The reservecould be improved with more native trees for wind breaks. Otherwise a beautiful reserve in a suburban area.

We like walking around the lake & feeding the ducks. A bigger playground for kids would be great. Nice to have toilets available too

So many Ducks and geese, and with that many droppings on the surrounding areasBut a lovely area to stretch the legs and my dogs.

Nice place for kids to come and play. Lots of open space, and very family friendly. The walk around the lake is nice as well. Can highly recommend. Will be back.
