Xcel Fitness Airport Oaks / Mangere

One of the best gyms I've ever been to! It's nice and quiet, members and staff all so friendly and respectful. If you live out south or are willing to drive for a gym, this should be the one

Popped in to check it out. Seems like a nice enough gym if you're looking for someone to train for fitness. If you're a serious lifter, I'd probably give this pass, especially since its on the second floor, dropping heavy sets on the floor is probably a no no. Not as big as it looks on the photos, but is very clean with modern equipment and looks well staffed and managed.

Really used to love this gym, but moved workplace and then tried to cancel via email. Unfortunately due to my own fault i sent an email to the manakau branch of xcel. I asked them for the contact information for this branch which they did not provide. Manakau sent me a cancelation form with someone elses information on it. I called and was under the impression my membership was cancelled and just found out they continued to charge me the past 10 months. Really disappointed cause the staff i used ti deal with were great. I emailed to try sort this out two weeks ago and Tim has still not sent me a cancelation form and im really unhappy that over those two weeks ive been getting emails about overdue paymebts. I will have to pay this to avoid getting a bad credit rating.

Excellent and tidy gym, quality equipment, I go at 4am and there's usually a couple people there but everyone's friendly.
