It was near the end of the year and I had decided I didn’t want to be a landlord anymore. I wanted the property sold by Xmas. I had been approached previously by another well-known real estate company, but somehow them arriving in our street in a convoy of expensive European vehicles, along with their flashy uniforms and high commissions, did not impress me. I wanted somewhere local, there were 3 offices near to us, one was the flashy crew, another I had dealt with previously and didn't want to go back, the third was Barfoot's.
