This business is illegally creating profiles of its customers secondly they are taking advantage of inflation and blatantly ripping off the community of upper hutt. Time to open the books and stop playing the victim.

My local supermarket. Not renowned for cheapness, but that's New World. I treat it more as an overblown convenience store and it fulfills this role very well. Even when it's busy the checkouts are pretty quick, either self serve or staffed.

Had such a lovely lady serve me today so happy and friendly her name is Fualaau P This lady is such a great asset to new world silverstream she was not just happy and friendly with me but also with the customer after me keep up the great work Fualaau you are just fantastic with your beautiful smile and happy friendly nature

Good quality products with a large selection of groceries, plus fresh vegetables and fruit. A little over-priced for the suburbs but convenient and easy parking. Recent improvements are an excellent ice cream bar. With top-end ice cream products. The addition of a barista and coffee to go is good thinking and appreciated by this customer.

Good supermarket that's local but with all specials. Well stocked and friendly staff too.

Good value and range of products .. including bottled sheep's milk and great pies! One thing only irritates: I do my own accounting and sales here often register with delayed entries from the bank. Significant time-wasting incurred when later checking my figures.

Well laid out store with well stocked shelves (including eggs) and good range. Gelato counter meant a refreshing sorbet was welcome on a hot day. .

This is a small supermarket serving a demographic that doesn’t mind paying the big $$ for convenience. It’s not somewhere that the average person would do a weekly grocery shop. Also, the carpark is shared with the health centre, a primary school across the road a small smattering of businesses. Avoid during school drop offs and pick up times.The shelves have the basics you’d need as a ‘top up’ shop, fruit, veggies, cereal, soft drinks etc. so naturally there’s not an abundance of choices. And if you’re in the ‘saver club’ (you can join online) you’ll make some good savings (not compared to large supermarkets). The ‘hot food’ like chickens have been sold out by closing time. The fresh bread that gets put on ‘clearance’ is often grabbed early. Reasonable wine and beer selection. Not cheap.Self check out, usually quicker. Otherwise the check outs have long lines and there aren’t many.Staff are always helpful and friendly.Good deli counter.Lovely ‘flower’ section at the front. They sell fresh, healthy looking flowers for those last minute gifts - if you’re not allergic, the prices will make your eyes water.
