This place is fantastic! It was the best of all the experiences we had in Rotorua. The pools are immaculate and beautifully designed, the views are stunning, the eco walk was gorgeous, and the staff were friendly. And it’s a great deal! Highly highly recommend.

Best camping site we have visited and the thermal pool was amazing.The kids had a blast. The cafe has nice coffee and great service, great clean and maintained bathrooms and for a little charge you can lock your phones to get them charged.We are definitely coming again … actually booked already a night on the way back.Thanks for such an awesome time. See you soon again!

Absolutely incredible experience. So much more reasonably priced than some of the other fancy ones. We picked the Spa Plus, was decent sized, easy to customise the temperature of the water ourselves, included a towel and bottle of water and an AMAZING view!

Waikite Valley Hot Pools
Stay in the powered campsite for one night. Very good price for $32 per person including free entry to the hot pools. Kitchen is simple and clean. No pots and cutlery, so need to bring your own ones. Water is drained daily, very clean. Don't forget to walk the short Eco trail which leads to the Spring where the thermal water comes from.

Spacious camping grounds, kitchen and toilet are very convenient, 6 public pools mostly thermal- great for dipping with family and friends, young and old can enjoy, friendly staff, it's a great experience to wake up surrounded by hills on a foggy morning then take a dip in the thermal pools. It's very relaxing. Then before you leave go up to the awesome part of the valley which is the boiling sulfur spring water and take pictures with your loved ones.

Went for the private pool and it cost 35$(including towel and mineral water) per pax which is not bad compared to other pools. The scenery along the ride is well worth the effort to drive from downtown.
