The water here is delightful and the people who visit are polite and orderly. Recommend it totally!! That's if you want pure water for free. Lovely!!

As we only come down to Wellington occasionally and stay at a relatives house 4 a week or two which has only Tank Water, we drive out to Petone to Fill our large containers with Artesian Water as our Main Drinking water and take some with us when we return home

I have been coming here to this artesian well for all of my drinking water for the last 12 years or more. It's the best water in the southern hemisphere so I'm told and I believe it because it's the best water I've ever tasted...and it's free! I travel many kilometers to fill up my bottles of this excellent water.

Doesn't taste as good as I expected for an artesian water... probably the water is drinkable, even though it is not spring water from a mountain, but it taste a bit of iron.... perhaps old pipes? Anyway, for a not filtered and not cleaned water, there's a lot of fuss around it.
