The drinks were decent. Typical bar cocktails.The service was good, there's a little button you can press if you need anything.I ordered my steak without onions but unfortunately it came over cooked and heaped in sweet onions.The ribs were really the biggest let down. They were pretty fatty and hard to get the meat from the bone. I can see the appeal of having to chew on them, but they're definitely not for me.It might not have felt so bad if it wasn't so expensive.

The wait staff was excellent and food was so good. We were eating in the bar area as we were just passing through which was nice but a tad dark. Us oldies had to really look at the menu. Was a awesome experience tho.

Lone star was pretty mediocre. It was an okay experience for 1 time, but, I would not likely come back.The best thing was the bread they gave us.The rest of the meals were quite pricey, bit didn't really seem to hold up on the quality.The service was quite lacking and we ran out of water constantly.The whole place was pretty empty even during lunch time which maybe should have been a sign.The place is clean and looks nice. I just feel that overall there wasn't anything that stood out. It's just... Okay.

Service was exceptional & everything came out at a good time. The waiters we had Katey & Jake were phenomenal, such a pleasant experience. Food was very good.

One thing worse than no service is the promise of service that 25 minutes later amounts to no service - for a drink while you decide what you want to eat. Pressed the order button several times. No drinks arrived. Walked out. Have had wonderful meals here. But the wait time is horrendous. It wasn’t busy. This is the 4th time we’ve had this experience. We’ve never just walked out before. Won’t be back. Clearly a systemic problem. Never had this problem at Church Corner.

Friendly welcome, eager to please staff, love the buzzer system on the table to let the staff know when you're ready to order or if you want to catch our waitresses attention. Food was beautifully presented, huge servings, delicious too. Got a single serving of dessert to take away while h was also tasty.

Service slow. Food pretty bad. Squid came out in a clump so batter was not cooked. Rice that came with burrito was extremely salty and cold. My batter on fish was very oily. My partner even said it was salty so saying something. Had to ask twice for tomato sauce. No tap beer!!! Very disappointed. I know it's hard to get staff but thank goodness my flight was delayed. I went to the toilet and there was toilet paper everywhere on the ground. But no hand roll. Mentioned to staff and not rectified. All in all if I was not in a rush to catch flight after work would not have gone

Me and my friends went out for dinner and it was absolutely amazing. Our waitress Grace (at Christchurch airport) was very onto it and had a very bright personality. Our food was amazing. Everything was quick to come and still delicious. The reason there is only 4 stars is because my friend wanted the food as spicy as possible but it wasn’t that spicy at all (it was still super delicious) thank you lone star!

Really busy, and my meal was not as great as on previous visits to other locations, but maybe it was just a one-off? GRAN TURNED 91 years young and the staff went the extra step and brought her out a desert and a candle. She was happy as Larry and loved her food. What more could one want?
