This place is stunning. Really beautiful. Great place to hangout with friends and family for a fishing day out. Quite a long walk to the bay but plenty of space to cast your line. Highly recommended.

Great place to take the kids fishing for small bait fish. Maybe if you are lucky you might get a snapper big enough to keep. I was lucky enough to catch a stingray. He seemed pretty annoyed about it so we let him go back to his business.

Great facility for the public to enjoy. The breakwater is lengthy and makes for a nice walk especially on a hot summer day. At the end are many pontoon areas that are great for fishing. Highly recommended. A++

Excellent facilities. Extremely convenient and secure parking for staying in self contained campervan. Easy commute on ferry to central Auckland.
