We were looking for new carpet , visited to different stores, required only for 3 bedrooms. The sales person was great but the floor manager old guy with specs. Who tried to provide the quote was ready to rip off by explaining the cost in weekly payments. When asked whats how is bieng calculated total amount, advised dont worry about that. Just $30 weekly payments for 3 years.Don"t trust what they say

I have worked with James on a few projects now, both for clients and for myself. GUARANTEE IS WORTHLESS // We installed Torlys laminate flooring 7 years ago in our kitchen dining area. While I was initially unsure of this product in a high use wet area I was assured it was a high performance product that was up to the job. I was also comforted by the 35 year guarantee they provided and also the statement that they could replace any panels that failed with relative ease. On this basis I went ahead. Fast forward 7 years and the product has warped around the sink area and gapped in some other areas. When they came to look they decided, with no evidence, that we must have had a slow leak" that wasn't remedied and they were not willing to stand by the guarantee. They also had no panels left so couldn't replace them. They didn't even mention the gapping panels. We have never had any kind of a leak only stand use of a kitchen sink with a family of 4 with small children. They then decided it was the "design of the kitchen" that was at fault. Our architecturally designed kitchen was in place when the floor was laid so figure that one out. In any event I'm guessing their strategy is to offer an impressively long guarantee to provide comfort which they have no intention of honouring. My advice is don't fall for it like I did. They may be great sales people but they are ultimately without substance."

Sales person from showroom was very helpful. However, the guy who came to take measurements quoted for the most expensive products. When I said the quote was too high, he never replied to offer other options or to answer my questions. I’m glad I didn’t go ahead with them. Found much better service elsewhere.

Honestly, I couldn't recommend James and his team more. From showroom to measure up to communication to actual fit we had an excellent experience. Would highly recommend

Reposting it, since it looks like they managed to take my previous review down.They did the job, which was ok, but ruined some of the furniture and left marks on the wall, triggered a fire alarm and tampered with the alarm (it was not put back on properly when I got back home and left it there half way) rather than calling us and asking how to stop it.I did chase them many times via emails, and never got a reply about the damages. Simply, they didn't care a bit.After I left my initial review they did threaten me and my wife to take us to court (for a honest review with actual email history and proof?).Good luck all

We are very happy with floor Xtra service. From quote to complete installation it all went super smooth. The people that came to install the carpet were super professional and left everything impeccable. The lady that coordinated the installation went the extra mile to accomodate our request for installation on an earlier date. Very professional service. And we are so happy with our new carpet. Would definitely recommend and return!
