Riverstone Retreat
The host Anne Marie was really kind and friendly. The place was immaculately clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. All items in the house from, decor to cutlery were of fine exceptional quality. The setting amongst natural surroundings was surreal. The location captured magnificently the beauty of Karamea. I have stayed at many places throughout New Zealand and this one appeals to me the most. I wouldn’t be exaggerating to say I would give 5 star quality.Gloria and Cris

The most wonderful spot to stay while we recovered from the Heaphy Track. Very comfortable, clean and modern chalets. A deck with river views and a BBQ. Plus a great big hot AND they did all our washing for us which we were so grateful for! Thank you and hope we can stay with you again sometime soon!

Riverstone Retreat
We Loved our stay! The bungalow had a warm, cosy feel with natural Timbers and modern decor. Full Kitchen for making meals, bbq for grilling, set in a lovely garden setting, the bungalow was comfortable and super clean. The owners left us some fresh fruit in the fridge which was a nice touch. Book here if you can, you won’t be disappointed.

What a lovely place to stay.Great clean and warm rooms with a view of the Bush and a small view of the river.Awesome large space for large groups with decks spa and self catering for a large group. Really nice owners Anne Marie and Alistair. Highly recommended

Stayed in the studio under the owners house. Very clean and comfortable. Dishes needed to be washed in a baking inthe bathroom, but that OK for 2 people. Lovely view and gardens.

This place has the WOW factor for sure. Anne Marie made us feel so welcome. Very quiet location....loved listening to birds in the morning. Everything about Riverstone was of high standard
