Good Union
Last night was a nice experience, customer service was lovely, the food was good, we ordered the Crispy Duck, Fish & Chups and the Chook burger. Definitely get in on a Wednesday for their $15 burger specials! Afterwards we ordered dessert which consisted of Baked Cookie which was divine, apple crumble which was scrumptious except the custard which had to be poured using a spoon as it was too thick.

We had a great time spending my brother's birthday here at Good Union. The food is great and delicious plus Rugby championship game was on fire! People were cheering and very proud Black Ferns won!

Yeah, always great at the Good Union in Cambridge. Lovely eggs bene with the yolks perfectly runny and the whites cooked through. The pork bites are excellent as well. Highly recommend the stout off the tap. Staff, as usual, always delightful.

Natashia and her team hosted our wedding function and it was perfect! The atmosphere was amazing, the food outstanding and the service was exceptional. They went above and beyond our expectations and we can’t thank them enough for making our day perfect.

Sadly, Good Union in Cambridge always leaves me a bit disappointed. Last time it was having to wait half an hour for our first drink orders to be served despite sitting within five metres of the bar. Not the waiters fault but for whatever reason the bar staff seemed to not be bothered making drinks that evening. It wasn’t busy. Food is also disappointing. A few goodies on the menu but always a lot of pre-cooked stuff that is shipped in, fried and served pretty bland and stale. Fresh is certainly not on the menu. Shame really because it is a great location and venue and the beer is great but everything else is…..meh.

We had a party on the Mezzanine Floor and it was fantastic. We had 40 guests, an amazing grazing board on arrival, hot food and lots of drinks. I’ve never organised a function before and Lauren did an awesome job, I’d highly recommend. Thank you for a stress free night.

We arrived about 4.15, were seated straight away on understanding we will be out before 7 as table was reserved. Perfectly fine with that. Restaurant was busy so took a while before order was taken. I had the pork bites which were beautifully cooked, my kid had the calamari which was very disappointing. It was dominated by the sesame seed and couldn't taste the calamari. What was the point? Bowl of chips perfectly cooked. Drinks: I had a Pepsi and my kid wanted the kids chocolate milkSHAKE. key word SHAKE. Pouring into a small glass readymade chocolate milk is not a shake. Do not advertise it as that, as that is false advertising. No froth no ice-cream into the mix. Service was average as we were offered no water and had to ask for the missing slice of lemon for the calamari. Staff were polite and cheerful but very busy. Sorry I know these sound minor, but prices at Good Union are not cheap and My kid and I don't get to dine out often, so these things do count and do spoil and evening.
