Waikiwi Child-care & Preschool | mixed age centre|Home | We are a small mixed age centre ranging from babies up to 5 year olds. We have created an environment that is like a family away from home that has close bonds with the surrounding community. We make regular visits to the local rest home and are often found exploring local places. We have separate areas for under twos and over twos but are able to mix together when appropriate. We have a well resourced outdoor area and our indoor area is changed regularly to suit the current learning and interests of the children. Due to being a small centre we develop close relationships with families and the teachers endeavour to develop children’s social and life skills.
