Pepe's Mexican Grill

Went here and got two great and very filling mexican meals. The vegetables are fresh and there is a good variety of meats, sauces and cheeses. They can make the meals mild, medium or hot to suit your tastes. This is a very good Pepe's Mexican Grill. Give it a go if you are hungry and have the taste.

Went and tried here today after walking out of Styx and Stone restaurant after shocking service. What a difference at Pepe's. Great service took no time for food to be served. Good value for money as partner and I could not finish our meal as so much food we took leftovers home for tea at night. Will be back here again.

I always get the nachos here and I love the flexibility of being able to choose what I want on them. They are the best nachos that I have gotten from anywhere in Christchurch so we always go back. The Queso cheese is so delicious! I would recommend ordering your meal in person however just so you can see the real selection and get good control over what you want in your meal.

Thanks Alisha for giving us so good experience. It was our first time v been to this place v were not able to decide first, what to pick as we are vegan so most of the time it is difficult to get something good and different. We took more time from the usual customers but still she was very friendly and the food turned out so yummm. Anyone can visit this place, there menu has everything for everyone. It is a must visit place when someone wants to have Tasty Mexican Food.

The food is nice, but portion sizes vary greatly depending on the staff member. Sometimes I will get so much food in say a rice bowl that I have leftovers for lunch. Other times I will get a miserably small portion in a rice bowl that doesn't fill me up and was a complete waste of money. The Jalapeno Poppers are a must have however!

Went w my kiddo & staff were so patient & kind to him. The food was fast-food Mexican & staff said they are like a, Mexican Subway" in the way you order as you go down the line and say yes or no to the toppings on your burrito."

Food was good, portions are huge. Had the best customer service from a lad with semi long blonde hair and blue eyes. He was smiling, cheerful, helpful, seemed genuinely interested in his customers and wanted to give us as good time. God stemning! I would appreciate an option for a smaller portion size for a slightly lower price. Had a good time.

Revolting and Overpriced. I bought the Nachos Meal at the Northwood Supa Centre store. Where do I start. Firstly, when asked what choices of toppings I wanted I was repeatedly asked to look at the signs". There were so many signs I didn't know which ones they meant. The shop was empty so I don't don't how hard it would have been to just politely tell me. The nachos weren't heated and they were stale. The mince was in huge globs and was cold. There was a selection of either black beans or refried beans. The refried bean looked like a thick disgusting mush so I chose the black beans which were stone cold. What is synonymous with Mexican Nachos? Avocado and Sour Cream and yet you do NOT get either! If you pay an extra $2 over the $15.60 price of this meal (which is expensive enough) you can buy the Avocado which I think is a rip off. Couldn't see any sign anywhere of Sour Cream. When I opened the box the stingy amount of Chipotle sauce was smeared and stuck on the box flaps so virtually none remained on the meal itself. The whole meal was stone cold and unappealing. I tried a few bites but couldn't stomach any more so threw it away as it was inedable. I would give this review 0 stars if I could."

The food is nice. People are friendly but the portion sizes are wildly inconsistent. One day my double meat salad bowl will fill the container and others its half full. When you are paying for extra meat etc its just too hit and miss. I have been a regular for year but unfortunately is getting worse.
