This is now the main vehicle entrance / exit , high level of security here now a days. Not a general public entrance.

Always a pleasure going to the port but being from out of Auckland the traffic is crazy and always a hold up on the motorway somewhere,traffic's the only downfall

This is not a good place to be when you don't have your ports card. Even though I've been around here delivering & picking up containers for over 30yrs, I'm not allowed in the gate without my ports card. So I don't recommend this place to anyone. Very insecure people.

Soo,the place feels very unwelcoming and extremely volatile.Especially the islander on the gate..The ports of Auckland are the leaders and face of the sea freight logistics. I believe they need to work on there interpersonal skills and customer service, I felt like they treated me like a crook or criminal when I visited..Learn better customer service and treat people how you'd like to be treated. Smile and welcome your visitors, show that you enjoy your job and want to be there..
