This is my favourite fish and chip shop on the whole of the Coromandel Peninsula. The staff is always so welcoming and friendly & the fish is always so fresh and cooked beautifully. Their thick shakes are also a highlight of my visit - so extra thick and flavorsome. Highly recommend Coromandel Takeaways.

We ordered a fisho burger, hotdog, and a crumbed fish (had also ordered chips) paid $26. Got back to accomodation and found no chips !!!. Obviously the person at the counter was not listening. Worked out the prices and found out had not paid for chips.That is totally over the top for pricing. Will not be returning

We arrived early around 5pm to get some fish & chips for takeaway and there was already a queue. The solo staff had to juggle ordering, payment, cooking, packing... practically everything. He remained patient and professional throughout so kudos to him. The prices were reasonable and the fish and chips were amazing!
